Printing Forms
Posted by Sunde888 - Apr 23 ’14 at 05:28
Hello,
I have used the spforms.com recipe for Sharepoint print forms, but have no success in printing only the form.
when I review the print, it shows more of the mess in the backround than the form itself. How can I print only the item which i am currently viewing?

Hello Sunde,
As I described in the post about forms for printing, you have to put PRINT link onto your form and use it for printing instead of the standard browser's command which prints the whole page with a dialog. You can hide all unnecessary parts of the form via CSS.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply, but do you have any "quick guides" on how to use CSS in this occurance`?

[#2]: Hello,
It completely depends on the parts of the page which you wish to hide. The screenshot of your printed form would be very helpful.
