Rich text formatting toolbar for multi line text field

Is there a way to include a rich text formatting toolbar above a multi-line text box in a spform?

I can format the text in the box using keyboard shortcuts (e.g. CTRL+B), but users want a formatting toolbar.

    Hi,

    If you're using an Enhanced Rich text field, you can find the formatting tools on the ribbon. You can also switch to Rich text mode in the List settings -> Columns -> Your multiline field to get the formatting tools right above the field.
